La Jolla Woman’s Club Wedding ~ Taylor & Mara ~ La Jolla, California

To begin this love story, lets start by saying it was a hot November day in La Jolla, California. Like unseasonably warm and gorgeous! I mean, it was what people talk about when they say, “it was a beautiful day.” The sun was shining and there was a lot of love happening. Taylor & Mara’s wedding was intimate in that they had so many family and friends come together to make sure their wedding went off without a hitch. Friends brought the booze, did the flowers, made the bride look stunning, “took the photos”, and we partied. Definitely one of my favorite couples and an honor to photograph their love. Congratulations Taylor & Mara, I can’t wait to see where your life together takes you.

House + Love = Home ~ A Lifestyle Family Session

I found this quote once, “Home is not a place, it is a feeling.” I couldn’t agree more. The first time I walked into my friends house, I was instantly in love! The location, the decor, the amazing kitchen, but most of all the energy. So, when we were talking about doing her photos, I said, we have to do them at your new home! She was fine with that as long as I brought my old VW. It was a perfect mix:) We had so much fun hanging out, cruising in baby girl, and well….here are a few of my favorites from the day!

Evan & Keria ~ Married ~ The Rancho Bernardo Inn

I met Evan and Keria this past year over brunch, bloody marys and an ocean view…. however, in my head I have know them for years. I have worked with Keria’s Mom for the past 10 years and since she is her daughters biggest fan, I feel like I have known Keria for years… I have heard all about these two… how they met, how they fell in love, how they love the outdoors, the olympics, traveling, and eachother. When I was honored enough to capture their day, I couldn’t have been more excited. Their wedding was full of true, undeniable love and compassion. Their family traveled from all over the world to witness their marriage, and it was truly one of the most touching and emotional weddings I have photographed. Thank you Evan & Keria for having me capture the most memorable of day of your lives.   I wish you the very best!

A Beach Maternity session ~ Ponto Beach, Carlsbad

Nothing makes me happier than watching my clients families grow. I first photographed Chris & Laura when they were expecting their first baby, plus a wedding {or two!}, and other shoots and I truly love this family! They have quickly become friends of mine and I am so excited to meet the next High boy! He is sure to be a cutie like his big bro. It was a hot and steamy night at the beach for their shoot and well, 2 year olds are 2 year olds and busy busy, but we got some keepers.

John & Sara {Married} ~ Santaluz Club Wedding, San Diego, California

This wedding couldn’t have been more beautiful. Just about 60 guests in a setting that reminded me of being in a backyard. Before I Do Events thought of every last detail to make this wedding intimate and romantic. The warm summer light was a perfect back drop and the canopy of twinkly lights topped off the night.
